For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a love of everything Disney. Growing up I was surrounded by every Disney movie and I loved to look at my Mom’s collection of Disney figurines. In 1985, my first Mickey adventure began when my parents decided it was time to experience the magic of Disney World. Even though I was only 4 years old, I can still vividly remember riding “It’s a Small World” over and over, seeing the Main Street Electrical Parade, and of course meeting Mickey Mouse. In fact, I still have my first Mickey and Minnie from that trip. This would be my first magical vacation but definitely not the last!
It was not until 2007, when I visited Walt Disney World with my own family and looked at my little girl’s reaction to experiencing everything that I became a true Disney enthusiast. We have been on many Disney vacations since that trip and every time we go it is just as magical. Watching the opening show at the Magic Kingdom, walking down Main Street U.S.A, and seeing Cinderella’s Castle for the first time of each trip is something I look forward to and truly sets the mood for our vacation. I am now passing on my love for Disney to my little girl and boy. I love watching my children experience the magic of Disney just as I did when I was their age. I cherish the moments when my children run up to their favorite character and give them a big hug or beg to go back on their favorite ride. We each have our favorite ride, character, resort, and restaurant, which are always changing making each trip unique. Making these magical memories each time we visit Walt Disney World is what I treasure the most.
In my non-Mickey life, I’m at stay at home mom who loves to be with my family. The opportunity to become a vacation specialist and help others plan their vacations to a Disney destination is a perfect fit for me. Every trip my family takes I plan and organize everything. I spend a lot of time staying current with Disney news, updates, and all around Disney vacation knowledge. I research the best parks to go to on each day, where to find the characters, and what restaurants to eat at. I ensure that I order the events of each day to maximize our fun and minimize our waiting time in lines– ultimately, creating the perfect itinerary. I will take the same time and careful planning I do for my family vacation and I will do it for your vacation.
I have planned and experienced Disney in many different situations. I have traveled to Disney World while pregnant, with an infant and toddlers who are now school age, with extended family, and also in a wheel chair (fractured knee – ouch!). I have been to Disney World during all the seasons from the least crowded time to the very crowded peak season. I have attended special events like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Star War’s Weekend, Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, and Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival. I have stayed at many of the resorts in each of the value, moderate, and deluxe categories. I have also eaten at most of the restaurants on property, even Le Cellier and Cinderella’s Royal Table – two of the hardest reservations to get. If you want to eat at these restaurants let me get up early to book them – you can sleep in! By specializing in Disney travel, I can provide you with the most up to date information about all of the Disney Destinations. I can help match a resort, attractions, and restaurants that best suit the needs of your family. I know that planning a Disney vacation can be stressful. Take some stress out of your life and allow me to get up early to reserve popular character meals and special events, secure the best resort for you and your family, and organize your daily itinerary. Whether your Disney vacation is a once in a lifetime event or a yearly experience I can make sure you get the most out of your vacation at the best possible price. As a Disney Vacation Specialist*, you can rest easy knowing that I will plan your entire vacation from start to finish.
There is something about Disney that I cannot put into words. It’s not just about the characters, the rides, the incredible service of the cast members, or the extraordinary nighttime entertainment. It’s a feeling only a true Disney fan carries with them. It’s a love of something so special that I hope your family will get to experience, just like my family.
Let’s use my love of Disney and expertise as a vacation specialist to plan your trip to visit the Mouse!
