I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember. It all began at the age of 4, with a picture of Mickey’s Kitchen Set that I put under my pillow every night before going to sleep dreaming that Santa would bring it to me on Christmas day. My wish came true that Christmas and still to this day my kitchen is Disney themed. Growing up with hopes and dreams that the glass slipper would fit or that I could fly with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell to Neverland, I realized that Disney would always have a special place in my heart.
It wasn’t until October 14, 2006 that I realized that dreams really do come true in Walt Disney World, when my husband proposed to me while on vacation. That is when my true passion for planning Disney trips started! We have taken numerous trips to Walt Disney World since, being there around Christmas time, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Fourth of July, the Food and Wine Festival, we even went there for our honeymoon. I’ve seen snow fall on Main Street USA at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party and even trick or treated around Magic Kingdom at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party. Using both the basic and deluxe dining plans, I’ve had the opportunity to dine with characters, eat in all of the signature restaurants, and secure the “impossible” dining reservations at Cinderella Royal Table in Cinderella’s Castle and Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot.
